Animals from now on every week I am going to make page about a certain kind of animal.
This week I am going to write about the hammer head shark.
The hammer head shark has a head like a hammer(the title gives that away).
It's shaped like that to enhance it's eyesight.
The hammer head shark does'nt really like eating it only
does when it's startled.
If you see one don't splash!
The main reason most sharks eat humans is because
their always startled.
The hammer head shark is in a family called the
Sphyrindea.
Their maximum size is 20 feet.
The can weigh up to five hundred pounds
and can live up to 1,000 years.
The hammer head shark diets
on octupi, ,rays other sharks and
crustaceans.

I love hammerheads! I saw a show called Most Extreme and it told me the wierdest sharks! I'm not going to tell you the rest though!

I just went on google an typed in hammer head sharks than an encyclapedia came.

I love it when students have special areas of interest. I think your classmates may find this information very useful. Can you post a link showing where you learned so much about sharks? If it's from a book, you could write down the title and author in case anyone wants to view the pictures.
