Reading and ELA Skills and Practice

Reading - Select a Fable, this is a short story with a lesson.  Create a page, summarize the lesson taught in the fable. Can you relate this lesson to your own life?  Why or why not? Draw a new cover for this story book and post it to your page.

Check the readability level of your writing. Just copy and paste your writing into the window and press calculate.  It will tell you the grade level of your audience based on the words you have chosen to use. Be sure to spell check first!

The sentence in yellow is rated at a 7th grade level! What do you think?

Could you understand it?

Should I rewrite it and try to get it to a 3rd grade level?
