- offer behind the scenes helpers to two people
- discuss the scenes, characters and settings
- group students according to scene
- ask them to write their own lines

- work on the set design together by getting ideas from various students
- create the set
- list all props and material needed by group
- assign a pair to work on creating invitations
- add a research component
- students will be able to add a line to incorporate an interesting related fact (easy if about animals!)
- assign a group to the library to do research, get 3 facts on selected topic
- meanwhile meet with scene 1
- line them up in chairs according to speaking order
- have them read through, make changes, suggestions
- rotate and spend 15 min with each group
- meet again the next day to finish meeting with 4th group and to block their movements using a camera as documention.
- sit in a large circle and practice the flow of the whole play
- repeat daily.
- hang up the set
- let behind the scenes know what to do.
- rehearse action for 3 days
- dress rehearsal Monday 2 performances Monday OH NO! 9:00 and 1:30.
- first performance Tuesday AM - youngest audience
- second performance/same day, PM - parents and peers
